22 miles from Nottingham This Nottinghamshire hotel is a tranquil oasis of natural beauty, where you can explore the county's many attractions. Conveniently placed close to the M1 and A1, it's also near Worksop, Retford, Blyth and Edwinstowe. Our special two night break was a pleasant experience made even better by the polite and professional reception staff. Our room was clean and fresh with a comfy bed, but the surfaces were covered in biscuit crumbs, and the floor hadn't been hoovered. The bath was a bit off-putting, but the kettle, wardrobe and bedding were clean. Breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were delicious, and staff were polite, though a little informal. The gym was well-equipped but covered in dust. Upon checkout, we were offered a 30% refund and assurance that our feedback would be taken seriously. Altogether, a great stay in a lovely location.

The staff are welcoming and efficient, and the evening meals are excellent. Unfortunately, breakfast is not quite up to the same standard. Despite this, guests can expect an unforgettable stay with exceptional value for money.
