27 miles from Retford The Nottingham Belfry is a 4-star hotel located just 15 minutes from the city centre and 2 minutes from the M1. It offers free WiFi and free on-site parking. Room service was great with a variety of products, and they made a special effort for my daughter’s birthday. The swimming pool was nice, although children can only swim till 6pm. Breakfast was great, however the coffee machine wasn’t working and some items were not available. The electric heater/air conditioning did not work and the wallpaper was ripped. Despite these disappointments, the hotel is still a great stay. The staff are friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere is pleasant. Highly recommended!

Professional and friendly staff, including Dennis in reception, made us feel welcome. The hotel is well-equipped with a gym and swimming pool. Breakfast was plentiful and had many choices. Comfy beds, blackout curtains, Crabtree and Evelyn toiletries, and air conditioning make for a comfortable stay. 20% discount for guests of the hotel for the car park across the road. Fizz Fridays with complimentary Prosecco on arrival and late checkouts by request. A great stay for families, business trips, or shopping trips!
