The 4-star Mercure Telford Centre Hotel is perfectly located for business and leisure guests, situated in the heart of Shropshire at the foot of the Wrekin leading into the Shropshire Hills (ANOB). The hotel was apparently full on the night of our stay, resulting in no water in the room, but was quickly rectified by maintenance. Breakfast service was amazing and the room was lovely and clean. We also made use of the pool which was basic but clean. It's in a prime location, right next to the town centre and just off the motorway. There is a Burger King, KFC and Costa round the corner. Despite the initial hiccup, it's a lovely hotel and would stay again if the water tank issue is resolved.
