Spa access is included in the Superior Double Rooms, and a free mini-bar is filled with goodies. Guests can also enjoy dinner at Sky by the Water and casino in the evening. Discounts are available at the hotel's shops. Unfortunately, reports of staff trying to scam guests out of money have been reported, so we advise caution. All in all, a great hotel for those looking for a luxurious stay in Birmingham.

The Arden Hotel & Leisure Club is a 3-star hotel located conveniently near the NEC, Genting Resort World Birmingham, and Birmingham Airport. Each room features an interactive 32-inch TV, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities, 24-hour in room dining menu, and en suite bathroom. The leisure club offers a great range of facilities, and the bar is both lovely and busy. The room is a bit old but has great storage and the bathroom is newly renovated. Staff were wonderfully accommodating and friendly, and the bed and pillows were surprisingly comfortable. Breakfast was well cooked and warm, with plenty of choices. All in all, a great place to stay while attending any NEC or resort world events!

Its SPA facilities include a sauna and steam room, and EV chargers for electric cars. The staff are attentive and friendly, providing extras such as rose petals, swan-shaped towels and a complimentary bottle of Prosecco. Despite Covid precautions, the hotel is still a great place to relax and experience a romantic night with your partner. Room service is prompt and delicious, and the lobby smells amazing. Unfortunately, the bar and reception service can be poor, so check with staff before booking activities.

Moor Hall Hotel & Spa, BW Premier Collection is a 4-star property overlooking quiet parkland and Moor Hall Golf Course. Enjoy free WiFi, free parking, 2 restaurants, a spa and gym, and an indoor swimming pool. Although the room we booked did not meet the description, the manager provided an upgraded room after a lengthy wait. The location is lovely and the ample parking great, however, the room and bathroom were not 4-star standards, the breakfast was poor, and the WiFi was not great. The reception staff was pleasant, but there were issues with accessibility, fire doors and emergency exits propped open, and packages and boxes left on the floor.
