Broomfields Country House is situated near Melrose, just 5 km away from Melrose Abbey. It's the perfect place to explore the Borders Abbeys. Martin and Lorna, the warm and welcoming hosts, provided a house party atmosphere and delicious breakfast with a healthy option and warm croissants. The large double bed was comfortable and the en-suite was almost perfect. The garden was a delight. Martin and Lorna provided excellent local recommendations for places to eat. The property is situated in peaceful countryside and is very clean with a beautiful garden. We enjoyed our conversations with Martin over breakfast in the vaulted ceiling dining room. Our hosts were friendly, chatty and welcoming, taking very good care of us during our stay. It was a wonderful experience!
