Our host, Tim, was accommodating from the outset and the room was comfortable and freshened up each day. Tea/coffee and biscuits were provided, and a tasty breakfast was served each morning. The sociable breakfast setup was a great way to chat to other guests and learn about their experiences. Tim was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the location was perfect for exploring the town and the Lake District. COVID guidelines were followed well, and the room and bathroom were spotless. We recommend Elm Tree Lodge for its friendly host, comfortable room and great location.
