Our 'superior' room was large, with a four poster bed and a bank of wooden wardrobes. The en-suite bathroom was modern and clean, with a full size bath and separate power shower. Unfortunately, some guests have reported issues, such as rude staff, dirty rooms, and incorrect breakfast orders. Our Granary Suite was quaint, with 2 double bedrooms, a sitting/dining room, 3 TVs and tucked away privacy. The furnishings may be dated but the historic beams and gable ceilings add to the charm. The beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. The spa, pool, sauna and jacuzzi made us feel relaxed and unwound. The restaurant catered to our allergies and the view of the golf course past the bridged stream was beautiful. There is plenty of free on-site parking and free WiFi throughout the hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel to others.
