Our Granary Suite, with two double bedrooms and a sitting/dining room, was quaint and timeless, with comfortable beds, 3 TVs, and tucked away privacy. We used the pool/sauna/spa/gym/restaurant and breakfast room, and enjoyed the view over the golf course. The staff were more than helpful, accommodating allergy issues and helping us coordinate treatments in the spa. Free WiFi and ample parking made for a pleasant stay. There's plenty of outdoor seating areas for relaxation, and the bar, lounge and library provide an ideal space for functions. Perfect for a romantic getaway or family holiday, Hall Garth is sure to provide a memorable stay.

The Manor House Hotel is a charming English manor house close to the A1 road. WiFi is free in public areas and food is served all day. Our 'superior' room was large, with a good size TV and a bank of lovely old wooden wardrobes. The four poster bed looked nice and the en-suite bathroom was modern and had a full size bath and separate power shower. Despite some reviews, the staff were attentive and helpful. We enjoyed our stay, taking in the 500+ year old history of the building and exploring the West Auckland area. The restaurant served up delicious meals and the staff were friendly. Overall, it was a great stay!

Even better, the hotel offers stylish rooms with free WiFi, a restaurant, bar, and modern health club. But the absolute highlight is the staff - everyone is friendly, professional, and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure guests have a great stay. The rooms are spacious, with a separate seating area, and dressing table/desk to be productive. The bar and social areas are great for larger groups, and the food is delicious - especially the avocado toast and poached eggs for breakfast! There is also a pool, and while I didn't get the chance to use it, it comes highly recommended by other guests. Unfortunately, my wife and I were disappointed with our stay - the room was a junior suite for £313, but it felt like a bog-standard room. The tea tray only had one cup, and there were no biscuits. The air conditioning was very loud, and the blinds on the velux windows were old and worn. Disappointing for an anniversary stay.

The pool area was outstanding and we loved the jacuzzi, hydro jacuzzi, and steam room. We paid £90 for the family room which included full use of the leisure facilities, and the staff were friendly. A great value for the money and we would definitely stay here again.
