Although the hotel needs some love and money spending on it, the location is excellent and staff are generally friendly and helpful. The breakfast is average, while the evening menu is limited and not as good as it was when the Countess owned it. Due to cost-cutting measures by the new ownership, there is no light snack menu, no telephone facilities, and no entertainment at the bar on New Year's Eve. The rooms are dated and the spa locker rooms are in need of repair. Despite the downsides, The Welcombe is still a great place to stay.

The garden is picturesque, and the hotel is very inviting. Unfortunately, on check out, there was an issue with the bill that needed to be rectified. Nevertheless, the Billesley Manor Hotel is a great place to stay for a relaxing break.

The breakfast is ok, with the tea/coffee machines breaking twice in 2 days. The swimming pool is nice, but could be warmer. The grounds are peaceful, perfect for a leisurely walk and the self-contained apartments are very comfortable. The location is great, with Warwick and Stratford-upon-Avon nearby for sightseeing. Stay here for a relaxing and peaceful getaway.
