The cottage overlooks the village green and offers spacious and very clean rooms, each with a massive bed, large T.V. and Wifi. An additional electric heater is provided to supplement the central heating if needed. Our hosts Sarah and Mark provided details of local walks and cycle rides, as well as local information in the room, and Sarah was available with local area knowledge and suggestions during our stay. Breakfast is outstanding with beautifully cooked quality products and plenty of choice. All Covid precautions were taken to ensure we felt safe. With comfortable pillows, good quality cotton sheets, tea and coffee making facilities and well stocked toiletries, we had a charming and well appointed stay, and the 200 feet walk to the Devonshire Arms for dinner was a lovely way to end our day. Highly recommended!

Upon arrival, you’ll find a welcoming bottle of wine and tea and coffee facilities, a real home from home! The cottage is surprisingly spacious inside, with comfortable beds, a great shower and a fire made up ready to light. Plus, the excellent Tansley Tavern is within 5 minutes walk – great food and drink! Communication is great and the attention to detail is incredible, making it feel like a five star hotel. Highly recommend this little gem!
