Kerry and Viv are knowledgeable about the local area and have plenty of tips for places to visit and restaurants. Located in the picturesque village of Pilsley, just 15 miles from Chatsworth House and 3 miles from Bakewell, you can enjoy lovely views of the village green and explore the local area. The B&B has plenty of room with a massive bed, large TV and Wifi, plus an additional electric heater. Our hosts Sarah and Mark provided us with local information and directions to enjoy a 6 mile walk. Breakfast was served with locally sourced products, and the Devonshire Arms pub was just a short walk away for dinner. We were also provided with tea and coffee making facilities in our room, as well as quality cotton sheets and comfortable pillows. Covid precautions were in place to ensure our safety, and overall we had a wonderful stay. We highly recommend Holly Cottage B&B for a relaxing break.

The host was friendly, professional and helpful, leaving a lovely gesture of flowers and prosecco for our anniversary. The patio offers breathtaking views of the horses outside the property and is an ideal spot for a romantic evening. We were also impressed with the welcome touches such as tea, coffee, fresh milk, butter, jam, biscuits and pain au chocolats/croissants. Highly recommend Springwood Cottage for a truly amazing experience!
