We also had access to a communal kitchen, honesty bar and large drawing room. Our break was made even better by homemade flapjacks, delicious breakfast and the lovely welcome we received. The vegan breakfast cooked by Peter was exquisite and a highlight of our Northern tour. The location is perfect for exploring Berwick and the Scottish Borders, and the Covid-19 safety measures made us feel safe and comfortable during our stay. We highly recommend this place for a peaceful, luxurious getaway!

Norham Bike Yard

Norham Bike Yard is a great B&B on the Northumbrian coast and Scottish border. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, the rooms were immaculate with art work based on the cycling theme, the ensuite was super clean and the garden was a lovely place to relax. We had use of the guest lounge with a TV and reading materials as well as complimentary WiFi and private parking available on site. The real ale in the Masons Arms was good and Norham has a pub, butchers, bakers and a small 'corner' shop. We were able to explore the local area with easy access to Lindisfarne Castle (31km), Bamburgh Castle (41km) and Etal Castle (10km). Norham also has riverside walks as well as the ruined castle and links to Turner's landscape paintings. This is an excellent place for a group of up to 8 cyclists or golfers or friends to stay.
