Fairfield House is an idyllic 5-star bed and breakfast located about a ten-minute walk from the centre of Warkworth. The house is tastefully decorated with quality furniture and fittings, and each bedroom is comfortable and well-equipped. The host, Mandy, is incredibly welcoming and helpful and goes out of her way to provide guests with a relaxed and enjoyable stay. Guests have access to a beautiful garden and terrace, as well as free WiFi and private parking. Breakfast is delicious, with a variety of options, including homemade granola and cooked English breakfast. Little treats, such as brownies and buns, are also provided each day. The Covid-19 outbreak has been taken into consideration, with hand sanitiser available and enough space to feel comfortable. Warkworth is a lovely market town with plenty of places to eat and drink. We highly recommend Fairfield House for a wonderful stay in a beautiful location.

It is conveniently located near Bamburgh Castle (30km), Lindisfarne Castle (46km) and The Maltings Theatre & Cinema (50km). On arrival, Linda met us with the key and was very friendly and helpful, providing us with directions and advice about places to visit and restaurants to try. The room was immaculately clean and had everything you could need for a comfortable stay, including a mini fridge, tea/coffee making facilities, fresh milk, bottled water, fluffy towels and mini toiletries. The location is idyllic and perfect for travelling about, with the A1 only a short distance away. Linda and Dave were super hosts, welcoming, friendly and couldn’t do enough for us to make sure our stay was perfect. We highly recommend East Cawledge Farm for a peaceful, relaxing stay in Northumberland.
