The inn offers a bar and a restaurant, free Wi-Fi throughout, and free on-site parking. Our suite was exceptionally clean, the bed was very comfortable and the room and bathroom were both spacious and spotless. The owners were very friendly and provided a delicious breakfast with helpful tips of where to visit and what to do. We also had dinner at the Tankerville, which was superb. The beer garden was lovely, perfect for pets, and staff were very helpful with taxi numbers when we went to Alnwick. The room was of high quality with tasteful décor, while the bath was very relaxing. Breakfast was sourced from local farmers and the owners have a great pride in their establishment. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.

Braeside Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful Edwardian house situated in the village of Eglingham, 44 km from Berwick-Upon-Tweed. Our host Sally is a warm, friendly and helpful person and her gorgeous dog Minkey loves the attention from guests. Our room was comfortable, spacious and clean with a large bathroom and a fridge with fresh milk. Sally’s breakfasts are delicious and the sitting-room with open fire is a great place to relax. The Tankerville Arms pub is walking distance away, serving good meals. Nothing was too much trouble for Sally and we felt like family rather than formal guests. We enjoyed plenty of helpful information and local knowledge about the surrounding area and a great base for exploring both the coast and the hills/countryside. We had a wonderful stay and hope to return soon!

Welcome to Megstone House, a charming Victorian property offering bed and breakfast accommodation half a mile from the picturesque harbour of Seahouses and just a 5-minute drive from Bamburgh Castle. Our hosts, Donna and Paul, will make you feel at home and nothing you ask is too much trouble. Our room was spacious and decorated with a four-poster bed, while our bathroom was modern and comfortable. Secure bike storage is available, and we had the pleasure of meeting Tim, the lovely rescue dog! We also had fresh milk in our room and plenty of tea, coffee, and other refreshments. Breakfast was cooked to order and included a magnificent cooked meal, mixed fruit, cereals, yoghurts, and toast with jams and marmalade. We found the location to be very convenient, with the town centre and beach both within easy walking distance. We couldn't fault our stay and will definitely be returning soon!
