During Covid, the hotel provided high standards of cleanliness and all staff and most guests wore facemasks. The formal dinner had a candle on each table adding to the occasion and was good value for money. The hotel offers a perfect romantic stay in a quiet area, away from the noise of the town. With free parking and easy access to nearby attractions such as Windsor Castle, Royal Windsor, Eton and Henley, this hotel is an ideal destination for a tranquil break.

DoubleTree by Hilton St Anne's Manor is a great choice for a countryside getaway. Located in 25 acres of woodland and within 30 minutes of Reading, Heathrow and Windsor, it offers a peaceful retreat in a beautiful setting. Our deluxe rooms are well-appointed, with two queen size beds, a pull out bed and a bath. On arrival we experienced a mix up with our booking, however the friendly front of house team rectified the situation. As a gesture of goodwill, we were given a complimentary drinks voucher and warm cookies - a nice touch! The beds were quite firm and the pillows were too soft and noisy, though we did eventually get a restful night's sleep. We were disappointed with the breakfast, which was understaffed and chaotic. Unfortunately, the evening restaurant was equally as disappointing with a lack of staff and food sent back to the kitchen. Our room was lovely, though there was no bin and the iron was supplied without an ironing board. All in all, a great location but some aspects of the stay let it down.
