Unfortunately, there have been reports of mold in the bathrooms, peeling wallpaper, and Christmas decorations with lights on the bannisters, which is a safety concern. Our stay was absolutely magical, thanks to the incredible staff that made it so special. The beef wellington for two was a lovely tribute to times gone past, and it was nice to see dogs welcomed in public areas. Breakfast was below average, however, and the cocktails at the bar were a little lacklustre. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to returning soon!
