St Mellion Estate is a four-star accommodation situated in 450 acres of stunning Cornish countryside. Guests have access to leisure facilities, championship golf courses and a Brasserie. Our self-catering cottage was spacious, clean and well-equipped with amazing views, and the grounds were well-maintained. The beds were comfortable and the gym was well-equipped and clean. The 25m pool was a little warm, but still pleasant, and the showers were great. The restaurant offers a three-course meal for £28 and the food was delicious. The staff were very friendly and went above and beyond. Breakfast had a great selection and the chef was happy to make porridge. The swimming pools were a good size and the showers in the changing rooms were hot. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at St Mellion Estate and highly recommend it.

This leading Country Club is set in 180 acres of beautiful Cornish countryside, just over the Tamar Bridge. Guests have free use of the China Fleet County Club’s facilities; these include a 25-metre pool, fitness suite, racquet sports, and Aqua Spa with a sauna, steam room, salt room, laconium, ice feature, heated loungers and spa bath. Golf and driving range were open during Covid-19, and the bar and breakfast were also available. Staff were incredibly friendly, professional and helpful, with special mentions to Matt Poole and Claudette. Accommodation is superb and great value, and the spa area was lovely and clean. Tennis courts were available, and all covid guidlines were followed. Breakfast was all you can eat and lots of choice. Despite the price being a bit high, overall the stay was enjoyable and staff were fantastic.
