The Beech Hill Hotel is situated in beautiful landscaped gardens and offers guests an AA Rosette restaurant, a Spa centre with an indoor heated swimming pool, a sauna, a steam room and outdoor spa pool, four-poster beds and some rooms have spa baths. Unfortunately, our experience was marred by the Duty Manager's aggressive attitude when we were locked out of the spa area and left in the cold without clothes for over an hour. The rooms have thin pillows, dated bathrooms, dingy wardrobes, filthy carpets and the radiator can be too hot at night. The continental breakfast is also limited, and there is no footpath outside the hotel. Despite our complaints, we were charged the same price for a much nicer room. WiFi is also poor.
