Embleton Hall & Spa is a family-run hotel offering apartments, suites, and en-suite rooms with a swimming pool, steam room, and a gym. The staff and the food were excellent and the location was gorgeous. Although the spa area felt a bit run-down, the hot tub and sauna were outside, and no robes were provided. The rooms were clean but a bit dated, and the ensuite shower room was quite small. On our final day, we were disappointed to have been lied to by the receptionist when asking to use the pool for half an hour, even though it was clearly empty. Unfortunately, this ruined the end of our stay.

The breakfast was great, with plenty of choices. The staff were very accommodating in helping us with our rental car issues. We also had a chance to get a massage to ease our stress. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it!
