Just a 10-minute walk away is Bowness which is known for its outstanding natural beauty. The check-in is easy and the rooms are very clean and well presented. Breakfast is excellent and the staff are warm and welcoming. There are plenty of local places to eat, things to do and walks to enjoy. Our room was spacious, the beds were comfortable and the shower was spotless. Parking is free and there is access to a health club with spa facilities. This is a great place to stay for exploring this beautiful region and a great value for money.

TROUTBECK LODGE 4 is the perfect destination for a weekend getaway. Located in a stunning lakeside location just a short drive from Windermere and Ambleside, the lodge offers plenty of facilities to make your stay comfortable. We enjoyed the on-site bar and restaurant and found the food to be of good quality and reasonably priced. The lodge itself is spacious with a double bedroom and two singles, and is well-equipped with cooking utensils and even an air fryer. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the hot tub, which is under a shelter and can fit up to 6 people. Check-in was easy with clear instructions and the host was very communicative. This is a great choice for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing retreat.
