The Old Mill Hotel is a tranquil, former mill set within its own grounds in the Rossendale Valley, Lancashire. However, during our visit, we experienced difficulties managing our son with autism and my elderly grandmother. We also found the size of the room and bathroom to be inadequate, with no safety handles or signage to warn of potential harm. The shower head and handle were also loose and there was black mould present. These issues, coupled with the noisy late night disturbances, meant that our stay was ultimately disappointing. We advise that the hotel reviews its health and safety policies before any serious injuries occur.
