This 3-star hotel offers a great location on St Annes Promenade, overlooking the Irish Sea. Our family room was great, decorated with modern furniture and a large bathroom with walk-in shower and big bath. The swimming pool was a good size, laned off into two sections, and just across the road from the beach and other attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the standard of decoration and furnishings was not up to expectations, with a shabby and dirty reception, and a dirty bathroom. The breakfast was just ok, although there was no cold buffet. All in all, the hotel is in need of a complete refurbishment, but its great location and friendly staff make it worth considering for your next stay.

The Glendower Hotel is a beautiful Victorian building situated in a stunning seafront position at Lytham, 48km from Blackpool. Our stay was made even better with the lovely staff, comfortable and very clean rooms, and delicious restaurant food. We felt safe and secure with the clear distancing signage and hand sanitizing stations. The room was equipped with a kettle and tea tray, ironing facilities, and a fan for extra comfort. We even got special treats for our beloved dog! Breakfast was quickly served and the beds were very comfortable. With the beach a stone’s throw away, this is the perfect getaway for a safe and relaxing stay.
