Langstone Quays Resort is a 4* spa resort located just 8 miles from Portsmouth, on the northern shore of Hayling Island. With stunning views of the Langstone Estuary and Harbour, the resort offers luxury executive double rooms, and is easily accessible from major road networks. Despite being a highly rated resort, there have been recent reports of a less than satisfactory experience, with guests complaining of a dirty entrance, a noisy car park, an outdated bathroom, no towels, rowdy wedding guests and teenagers running riot. We hope this does not reflect the normal experience at the resort, and remind guests to contact the hotel directly for help or complaints to ensure a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

There were two weddings taking place while we were there, but unfortunately the quality of the evening dinner was very poor and the waiting staff inexperienced. Reception staff were also questionable, charging us for drinks that were supposedly free. Overall, we were very unhappy with the service, and will not be returning.

Champneys Hampshire is a luxurious and tranquil spa hotel, set in the stunning South Downs. With world-class therapists, innovative restaurant and luxurious treatments, it promises a relaxing and indulgent spa weekend. Unfortunately, overall service levels were far below expectations, with staff not properly trained and hospitality lacking. However, the swimming pool was quiet and peaceful later in the evening and the dining area had lots of fresh food. The housekeeping and bathroom fixtures were disappointing, but the breakfast service was excellent with a good selection of food. On the whole, guests were pleased but some were very disappointed with their experience.
