Charlton House Spa Hotel is a premier hotel in South West England, offering luxuriously furnished rooms with individually designed bedrooms featuring bathrooms with baths and showers. Our spa treatments, including a hydrotherapy pool and body wraps, are top-notch. Although our room was nothing but standard for the price, reception and the manager were welcoming and helpful. The spa was lovely and the drinks on offer were amazing. Breakfast was ordinary, but the lounge menu was extensive. Our room was warm and a bit dark, but the mattress topper didn’t fit, and we had to wait quite some time for drinks due to staff shortage. All in all, Charlton House Spa Hotel offers a luxurious and comfortable stay with great spa treatments.

This contemporary hotel is situated in 6 acres of landscape gardens in Avon, Bristol, just 12 miles from the city centre and under 4 miles from the M5 motorway. Unfortunately, our stay was not up to expectations. Our room was next to a busy lift and the food in the restaurant was not worth the price. The staff were not very helpful when we asked for vegan and allergy-friendly food, and the wait for food in the pizza restaurant was too long. Despite these issues, Bristol Airport is only a 15-minute drive away and the hotel did offer a partial refund for our troubles.
