Our room was nothing special for the price we paid, but helpful staff addressed our concerns quickly. Despite being short staffed, the barman was great and attentive. The room was a bit dark and dated, with a thick duvet and a non-fitting mattress topper. It was also a bit warm and with only one small window. Overall, Charlton House is a great hotel with attentive staff and excellent spa treatments, but their rooms could use some improvement.
