Charlton House Spa Hotel is one of the premier hotels in South West England. Luxuriously furnished rooms, individual bathrooms with baths and showers, and fantastic spa treatments, including a hydrotherapy pool and body wraps, make it a delightful place to stay. Customers have praised the property, although some were displeased with the cleanliness of the rooms. The staff went out of their way to help, however, and breakfast was good. The spa was lovely, with a sauna and outdoor hot tub, but some felt the price was too high. The dining room menu wasn't to everyone's taste, but the drinks on offer were great. The room was comfortable, but the mattress topper didn't quite fit and the lights didn't all work. Cleaning service was a bit slow, but overall a pleasant stay.

This stylish, contemporary hotel offers a peaceful retreat within 6 acres of landscape gardens in Avon, Bristol, just 12 miles from the city centre and under 4 miles from the M5 motorway. Bristol Airport is a 15-minute drive away. Unfortunately, our stay was not as expected. The room was noisy and cramped, the restaurant was expensive and the food quality was disappointing. Furthermore, vegan and allergy-friendly options were not available for breakfast, and staff were unwilling to provide the necessary information. We received a partial refund for the girls' breakfasts but this hotel is not suitable for vegans or those with food allergies.
