Eastwell Manor Hotel is an impressive building set in quiet surroundings and overlooking beautiful grounds. It features 2 restaurants, a bar, a gym, and a spa. However, our experience was far from pleasant. On arrival we were told that the spa was only available to us between 5-9pm, despite the fact that we had paid for a massage at 5pm. This was despite the fact that when we arrived the spa was very quiet. We also found the room to be quite dated, with no air conditioning and the beds not being very comfortable. The property overall was very dirty, with lots of flys and spiders in our room and the walls of the restaurant being dirty and full of insects. There was also no one at reception when we called to rearrange a taxi. All in all, Eastwell Manor Hotel is in need of an intense clean, face lift and decent staff.
